No more delays! It's time to tell Congress they need to vote on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act!

Hundreds of organizations issued a strong statement today demanding that Congress stop delaying and take immediate action on ENDA.

It is outrageous that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people STILL do not have a federal law protecting them from workplace discrimination. In most states it is completely legal to fire someone because they are LGBT. This is just wrong.

We need everyone to take action now to tell Congress to vote on this bill, once and for all. Equality and job security in general are on the line for millions of Americans.

Your past calls and e-mails supporting ENDA have brought us this far. We need you to once again place a phone call with your House Representative and ask them to take action on ENDA today. Here's how you can help:

1. Call Congress. Please visit our action center to find your representative and call the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 to share the following message: My name is _____. I am a proud member of PFLAG and I live at (give your street address) in (give your city/town). I am calling in support of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (H.R. 3017) to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people from job discrimination. This bill needs to be voted on NOW.
