When attending the PFLAG monthly general meeting (first
Sunday), please plan to stay for the small group sessions after the
meeting. These general discussion groups -- the heart of PFLAG -- are designed for
confidential sharing of concerns in a community of caring people who listen, learn and
grow. Whether you are attending for the first time or are a regular attendee, you will
find support from those who attend the small groups. Sometimes we nurture, sometimes
we seek to be nurtured. In the small groups you will find that you always have a home in
PFLAG!
A special support group also meets during the small
groups portion of the PFLAG monthly meeting (contact
PFLAG if you would like more information):
Spouse Support Group
The PFLAG Spouse Support Group deals with the effects of a
spouse's acknowledgment of a homosexual or bisexual orientation upon a once-traditional marriage. We discuss the complex and important issues associated with such a
relationship. Our goal is to strengthen relationships so that they will be authentic,
caring and responsible, no matter which path the couple has chosen.
